The IKB Kip 2024 annual plan has been approved by the IKB Kip Central Board of Experts (‘Centraal College van Deskundigen’ – CCvD) and adopted by the board.
IKB Kip, chicken from an assured source!
The aim of IKB Kip is to strengthen the license to produce of participants in the poultry meat chain. This involves building and maintaining the trust of market parties and society in IKB Kip and the companies that participate in the scheme. The focus areas for 2024 include:
- Ensuring KB Kip remains a system to be proud of, by reinforcing its strong framework.
- Ensuring IKB Kip remains an efficient and effective scheme, through methods including monitoring participant inspection performance and results, to determine potential areas for improvement.
- Effective and fair scheme implementation and management, in partnership with the CCvD.
- Supporting participants through methods including effective communication and IT tools.
These activities are funded by contributions from IKB Kip participants. Please see the 2024 rates below. Rates for 2024 have been increased compared with 2023. This increase partially covers increased costs (inflation).
